When Chris and I got engaged we decided that the only way to make holidays fair for all the families was to split Thanksgiving and Christmas between Salt Lake and Colorado, then alternate each year. This year we spent Thanksgiving in Salt Lake, meaning Christmas would be in Denver.
My family decided this year to skip the presents and take a big trip to Costa Rica and Panama (pictures to come as soon as I can sort through the 900 of them). But, since stockings are always a big deal with us, we still exchanged stocking stuffers. We also had a great Christmas dinner with our very best friends Dee, Amy and Erin Bird.
