Costa Rica and Panama, Post #2

So, again, I totally apologize for the length and detail...
Our first full day in Bocas, we were told to take a water taxi from downtown to visit the next island over called Caranera.  It has this great little bar/grill, The Pickled Parrot, owned by a friendly, but crazy, former Nuclear Scientist and his Panamanian wife.  Their young son entertains himself by running through the tables with his dump truck screaming.  Ha, he was cute though.  So after a few of the local beers (Panama, Balboa, Atlas and Crystal, if you can find it) and some AWESOME burgers, we walked about 20 yards to a little patch of sandy beach and swam for a while.
Later, we returned home to fish off the dock and play cards all night.

The water taxi costs about $1 per person from down town Bocas to Caranera.
